Like many Americans, I am currently seeking new opportunities and challenges. I am looking for a creative, project-driven environment where I can bring my analytical and writing skills, as well as a freshly-minted education in information technology implementation, to a team of like-minded professionals and can contribute essentially and substantially toward the principal goals of the operation. I am ready, willing and able to follow the right opportunity wherever it may lead. |

Mark Thiel speaks English and Spanish. He has worked in both the public and private sectors as an Instructor in adult education, a Coordinator of International Relations for local government in Japan, and an Immigration Consultant in NYC serving richly diverse, multinational constituencies.
He has worked as a Proposal Writer in the clinical trials industry and written feature articles for the Rutland Herald, in addition to doing research and writing work as a Paralegal in corporate litigation. Mark has addressed audiences ranging from dozens to thousands while living and working in Washington, D.C., Japan, New York City, and Vermont. Mark is also a talented photographer. Certification - Mark is a Certified HIT Pro Workflow and Information Management Redesign Specialist (Certificate No. 246144804), and Implementation Support Specialist in Healthcare IT (Certificate No. 242752588).
The course of study leading to these certifications was sponsored and directed by the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) of Health Information Technology at the Department of Health and Human Services, and scholarships funded by the federal HITECH Act and ARRA.
